my point is: if you can believe in the middle ages, you should be able to beleive in Jesus becuase they are both part of history. if you can believe in things like that you shoulf be able to recognzie that gods work is part of our hisrtory.

Well there's only one account of the things that happened and that's the bible. Other events in history have many, many accounts of what happened.

Not really, there's no proof behind it. They don't even know who wrote the Bible, it could have been some crazy guy who was having hallucinations and was all schitzophrenic.

But then it would have to be mass insanity due to the fact that there are multiple accounts of most historic events. If there was only one account of each thing then there'd be no way to know if it was fact or fiction. The Bible could very well be either, but I'm think it's more metophorical type fiction. *shrug*

There is scientific proof of the Earth being billions of years old. It is mathamatically impossible for Noah's Arc to have floated. However, it is recorded in many accounts the acts of many people over thousands of years.
Basically, ther is no proof of the bible, some proof against parts of it, and proof that history and science is real.

Yep. Also, they have tried many many times to prove the existence of Jesus through multiple scientific means and have been quite unable to thus far. You'd think it would be the easiest thing to prove if God existed He'd want us to know Jesus was real, right?

Because he wants us to come to that conclusion ourselves.
