I don't know, I was justing being bored. It's not my best by all means but I like it in a way. In the silence of the day Through shadows and alleys It safe some would say But how wrong they are
We tend to think the light Scares away dark souls as well But there’s still plenty to cause fright Like the ominous murderer
When will he come? What will he do? In his hand is a loaded gun On his face a vicious smile
No different after years in jail He just escapes They think his soul will pale But he’s not so easily changed
So be afraid now Because he isn’t afraid to kill After all, he knows how From plenty of experience
But does this mean he should be dead? Was it not society that tore at his mind? That made him bloody his hands so red And made him wind up so deranged
So he prowls waiting for his prey Such an evil grin on his face Nothing can get in his way But he really isn’t smiling…

The last two stanzas are my favorite, but the whole thing was great. ^^
Definitely making a good point here.

Yay! Thanks. ^^ I thought so too. I can never really decide if I think people should be executed because I can see the point to it, and it probably would be better than sitting locked up in jail for rest of your life, but still, doesn't it make the executioner just as bad as the murderer? I mean even if htey killed a criminal (like Light does ^^) they'd still be locked up and possibly executed for it if the criminal wasn't threatening them. So I don't know. *shrug*

Yeah. Capital punishment is so very controversial.

So, so very. I think it's wrong in some ways, but it's also merciful compared to spending years locked in a dark, empty room by yourself (solitary confinement) or even the harsh monontony of jail. I don't get the whole 'locking insane people in a white padded room with a straight jacket' thing though. I mean seriously, the utter lack of stimulation would only drive them further into the grip of insanity, it wouldn't lead them on the path to recovery or help anyone. I think insanity could be fixed in each particular person if people cared enough to help them, after all people can get over things like anxiety attacks, OCD, that sort of stuff if they have a strong enough will or if they get help froma psychiatrist so I mean insanity is a problem within the brain but the brain is still fully functioning so yeah. Maybe split personality couldn't be resolved but I don't know, I haven't taken any psychology classess so I suppose I really can't talk.
